Chris Isaak cancels Waukegan, rest of 2016 tour

Citing a bout with pneumonia, singer-songwriter Chris Isaak has canceled the remainder of his 2016 tour that included a stop in Waukegan next month.

Isaak had been scheduled to perform a concert Friday, Nov. 18 at the Genesee Theatre in downtown Waukegan.

However, in a news release issued Wednesday, Isaak said the rest of his cross-country concerts tour was scrapped due to his pneumonia. He's expected to make a full recovery.

"I'm a pretty healthy, clean-living rock and roller," Isaak said in a statement. "It's really unusual for me to cancel shows, but the good news is, I'm on the mend and look forward to getting back with my band as soon as I'm 100 percent. I want to thank my fans in advance for their good wishes."

Refunds are available at the point of purchase. For questions about tickets and refunds for the scheduled Isaak performance at the Genesee Theatre, email tickets@geneseetheatre.com or call (847) 263-6300.
