COD Men's Golf Wins Regional Championship
The College of DuPage men's golf team is heading to the NJCAA National Tournament this spring after winning the Division III Golf Championship earlier this month.
The COD team shot 301-310-305 over the three-day regional tournament. Individually, team members Nicholas Keefe (74-80-73), Chris Dufort (75-72-77), Jimmy Roach (80-77-76), Anthony Accettura (75-81-79) and Kevin Uvodich (77-87-83) were named to the Region IV Division III All-Region Team.
"The athletes had a tremendous showing throughout the season and their dedication really showed in the results," said Head Coach Jason Hyatt said.
The team opened its season strong, placing first at the Highland "36." Throughout the season, the eight member squad dominated throughout the regional competition, taking five of the top seven slots and competing in ten tournaments.
