Fiery crash along I-70 in Indiana closes westbound lanes

BRAZIL, Ind. (AP) - A fiery crash along Interstate 70 in western Indiana prompted State Police to close the highway's westbound lanes for hours.

WTHI-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2f3feUK ) that crews were battling Saturday afternoon to douse the burning wreckage of two semi trucks following the crash along I-70 in Clay County just west of the Brazil exit.

State Police say three semi trucks were involved in the crash and two caught fire, producing a plume of smoke that could be seen from downtown Terre Haute about 15 miles away.

Police reported no serious injuries in the crash, but said the highway's westbound lanes were expected to be closed for several hours.
