Great Pumpkin Celebration in Round Lake

Costume contests and more were part of the Round Lake Area Park District's annual Great Pumpkin Celebration.

The free event Saturday at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center in Round Lake provides kids in costume and their families with indoor trick-or-treating, carnival games with prizes and kids entertainment.

For the more adventurous group, there were indoor and outdoor mazes and hayrides.

A highlight of the celebration was costume contests with awards for kids 15 and younger.
