Mundelein may restrict pet stores

The Mundelein village board will meet Monday night to discuss an ordinance that would regulate pet stores. The issue arose a few weeks ago after complaints about businesses that sell dogs acquired from large-scale breeding operations dubbed puppy mills. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
