Maine West 4, Glenbrook South 1: The 12th-seeded Warriors eliminated the No. 8-seeded Titans in a regional semifinal hosted by Maine West.

Senior Brant Ibarra did the bulk of the damage with 2 goals, and Geronimo Xolio and Emerson Herrera also scored for Maine West.

Dean Hernandez saved 5 shots for Maine West, which will host Glenbrook North at 3 p.m. Saturday in a regional final. The Spartans advanced by shutting out Prospect 3-0.

Hersey 2 , Deerfield 1: Matt Dickey and Jack Rasmussen provided the scoring for the host Huskies, who advanced to meet Waukegan in a 6:30 p.m. Friday regional championship matchup.

Matthew Grady scored for Deerfield.

Waukegan got a pair of goals from both Eric Ramirez and Osvaldo Zarinara in ousting Carmel Catholic 6-3 at Hersey.
