Cupich to help Palatine church celebrate 75th anniversary

Archbishop Blase Cupich will celebrate Mass at St. Theresa Parish in Palatine on Sunday, Oct. 30, as the parish marks its 75th anniversary.

Cupich, who last week was appointed a cardinal by Pope Francis, will be joined by St. Theresa Pastor the Rev. Timothy Fairman in leading the 2 p.m. Mass at the church, 455 N. Benton St. Oher special guests include current and prior associate pastors, as well as a couple of the Sisters of Christian Charity, who were the first teachers at St. Theresa School.

A reception will follow the Mass.
