Wego Drama to present 'Alice in Wonderland'

Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School will present "Alice in Wonderland" as a live radio play to raise funds for children's books.

The adaptation of the classic tale begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago.

"This story is perfect for us to do. It is fun and silly," said Nayeli Miguel, the student who serves as vice president for events for Wego Drama.

"The audience, especially kids, will really love this show," said Ken Correa, a student who is part of the performance.

Student Ricky Gieser added, "I can't wait to bring classic characters to life. It is for such a good cause and I hope everyone comes."

Tickets are $10 and are available at wegotheatre.com and at the door.
