MCC to host live panel discussion featuring Dutch educators Oct. 20

Learn about Netherlands culture, education, economics and political science at "Through the Cultural Lens: Current Issues in the Netherlands," a panel discussion featuring seven Dutch college faculty and staff, on Thursday, Oct. 20, at McHenry County College.

Two separate panel discussions will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. in Room B166-167 at the college, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The Dutch educators are visiting McHenry County College for a two-week international exchange from Oct. 15-29, sponsored by MCC's Department of International Studies, which is a member of the Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs.

The panel discussion is facilitated by Todd Culp, MCC instructor of history and political science.

Three of the Dutch visitors are matched with MCC faculty for a two-way exchange. MCC faculty will visit their host in the Netherlands in May.

The remaining four are hosted by MCC faculty and staff while visiting the U.S.
