Tulane's Stockton signs contract extension
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Tulane women's basketball coach Lisa Stockton has signed a contract extension that will keep her with the program through the 2020-21 season.
Athletic Director Troy Dannen announced the agreement Thursday in a news release. Further details were not released.
Stockton is in her 23rd year at the helm of the program where she's compiled a 461-227 record.
Stockton has led the Green Wave to 17 trips to the postseason, including 11 in the NCAA Tournament.
The women's program kicks off its 2016-17 season inside Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse on Nov. 12 against Grambling State. Tipoff is at 2 p.m.
