McHenry County Mental Health Board has two openings

The McHenry County Board is accepting applications from individuals interested in appointment to the McHenry County Mental Health Board. Two terms are available which expire on Jan. 1, 2021.

Application forms are available at the county board office, Room 209, McHenry County Government Center, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock, IL 60098; (815) 334-4221 or at the county's website at www.co.mchenry.il.us.

Completed applications should be returned to the county board office no later than 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3.

If mailing your application, certified or registered mail is recommended.

Mailed applications should be sent to McHenry County Board, 2200 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock, IL 60098.

This is an unpaid appointment. Members are expected to prepare and attend one to two meetings monthly, usually held in the evening hours, in addition to serving on at least one committee. No member of the community Mental Health Board may be a full-time or part-time employee of the Department of Human Services or a board member, employee or any other individual receiving compensation from any facility or service operating under contract to the board.
