Vernon Hills d. Conant: Alexandra Skatchkov, Lilly Hemesath and Drew Petereit each swam on two winning relays and won an individual event, as Vernon Hills edged Conant 95-90 in nonconference action.
Skatchkov, Hemesath, Petereit and Alina Goodman comprised the victorious 200 medley relay (1:58.87). Vernon Hills' 200 freestyle relay touched first with Petereit, Skatchkov, Hemesath and Nicole Pinter (1:44.82). The Cougars got individual wins from Pinter in the 200 free (2:04.51), Hemesath in the 200 IM (2:20.95), Allison Landis in diving (176.90), Goodman in the 100 butterfly (1:07.31), Petereit in the 100 free (56.19) and Skatchkov in the 100 backstroke (1:01.35).
