Grayslake Library hosts preschool fair Oct. 4

The Grayslake Area Public Library will hold a preschool fair for anyone who wishes they had more time to explore the wide variety of learning environments available in the Grayslake area.

Twenty different preschools - representing a variety of programs including public and private schools, all day care, Montessori, etc. - will be at the library from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4. During this time parents and caregivers can meet them, learn about each school's philosophy of learning, school schedule, daily routine, teacher/child ratio, opportunities for parent involvement and cost. All in one place at one time.

A parent who attended a previous fair commented, "I never could have visited this many preschools on my own time, as a working mom this is a great time saver."

A schedule of times to visit these preschools and observe their programs in action will be available.
