Girls volleyball: Larkin, South Elgin notch wins

Mallory Boulton and Kayla Armour had 9 kills each while Natalie Kofie added 21 assists and 12 digs to lead Larkin's girls volleyball team to a 15-25, 29-27, 25-17 nonconference win over Glenbard North Thursday.

Mackenzie Malon added 12 digs for the Royals (9-11) and April McGhee had 9 digs.

South Elgin d. Elgin: Taylor Hankins (9 kills) and Hayley Fisher (7 kills) led the Storm to a 25-17, 25-13 Upstate Eight crossover win. Sarah Murray had 7 digs and Kendall Richardson added 12 assists for South Elgin (7-6-2).

Harvest Christian d. Faith Lutheran: Mikayla Robinson had 10 kills and 2 blocks and Amanda Cassidy added 10 kills, 5 blocks and 3 digs for Harvest in a 25-15, 25-16 win. Candis Kaplan added 19 digs for the Lions (12-6).

CL South d. Dundee-Crown: Hannah Koenig and Jordan Proszenyak had 5 kills and 7 blocks each as the Gators (4-6, 4-6) won this Fox Valley Conference matchup. Michaela Madden contributed 14 assists and Aurora Nero had 3 aces and 10 digs for Crystal Lake South. Ayana Gard (6 kills, 6 digs), Ali Bucjley (12 assists) and Zoe Sitarz (9 digs) led Dundee-Crown (7-9, 4-7).
