Batavia McDonald's hosts McTeacher's Night for HC Storm School

On Sept. 27, HC Storm Elementary School PTO held a McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in Batavia.

The HC Storm McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the elementary teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community, all while raising funds for the school.

Twenty-one teachers and staff members from the school worked jobs such as greeting guests, the front counter, the drive-thru, serving drinks and serving ice cream. Ronald McDonald made an appearance and enjoyed turning Principal Anne Paonessa into a clown.

The school's plans to use the money raised to support the school. Special thank you goes out to Katherine Murphy of the PTO, for coordinating the entire event.

McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the Batavia McDonald's owner/operators, The Lardas Family. For more information about events provided by the Batavia McDonald's contact their Community Relations Director, Julie.Travers@comcast.net.
