Geneva Lions ask you to 'Unlock Your Heart'

The Geneva Lions Club, serving Geneva and St. Charles, has recently launched a recycling program to collect brass, steel, tin and aluminum keys in an effort to raise funds to support services to the hearing and visually impaired in Illinois. Donation buckets will be located at various Geneva and St. Charles businesses and schools.

The Geneva Lions and other clubs have long been known for their efforts in collecting and recycling used eyeglasses, however the recycling program also includes collection of keys, cell phones, ink cartridges and hearing aids.

Donations, which are collected and sorted by club members and volunteers, are delivered to the Lions of Illinois Foundation. Funds raised are used by the foundation to support programs such as the infant vision screening and infant hearing screening programs.
