Tour new public service facility Oct. 17 in South Elgin

On Monday, Oct. 17, the village of South Elgin will be hosting an open house from 4 to 6:30 p.m. to launch its new public services facility.

A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will be conducted at 6 p.m. to usher in the new facility after 18 months of planning and construction.

Residents are welcome to come for a tour and take a closer look at this much-needed new facility.

Staff members, designers, and constructors will be available throughout the facility to answer any questions regarding the facility.

The project team is very excited to share the $7.2 million facility that was completed on time and under budget. The new public services facility is home to the village public works department as well as our parks and recreation maintenance staff.

Join them for refreshments to celebrate this new facility.
