Women's volleyball: Harper still perfect after victory over Rock Valley

Following Thursday's big victory over Madison Area Technical College, the Harper College women's volleyball program didn't lose any momentum.

On Tuesday, the Hawks capped a season sweep of Rock Valley College by defeating the Golden Eagles 25-16, 25-18, 25-18.

The victory keeps Harper perfect overall (21-0) and in the North Central Community College Conference (7-0).

A trio of sophomores paced Harper's win over Rock Valley. Kayla Mayer had 28 digs, while Katelyn Sommers (33 assists) and Kathryn Novy (11 kills) set the tone offensively and Schaumburg grad Hannah Moore finished 20-for-22 from the service line with a pair of aces.

The Hawks are next in action Thursday, with a road date at Joliet Junior College.
