Aurora to host open house to discuss future mural Sept. 29

The city of Aurora is seeking public input on the development of a new city-commissioned mural.

Interested participants are invited to attend an open house on Thursday, Sept. 29, anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Pierce Art & History Center, 20. E. Downer Place.

City officials and members of the Aurora Public Arts Commission will be in attendance to discuss ideas.

The goal of the city of Aurora is to issue a request for proposals in late fall 2016, review the proposals over the winter and select a proposal with work to commence in spring 2017.
