Senators' Mark Stone diagnosed with concussion

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) - Ottawa Senators forward Mark Stone has been diagnosed with a concussion.

Senators coach Guy Boucher said Saturday that Stone will be evaluated on a daily basis.

The 24-year-old Stone had 23 goals and 38 assists in 75 games for the Senators last season.

Ottawa opens the regular season at home against Toronto on Oct. 12.
