Sign up for Color the Town Pink

Support Breast Cancer prevention while having fun at Deer Park Town Center's third annual "Color the Town Pink" event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8.

Proceeds benefit the Breast Care Center at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.

The morning will start out with group Zumba, followed by a "Celebrating our Survivors" fashion show featuring the latest in active wear and casual wear. The day will conclude with group yoga and a raffle.

Deer Park Town Center retailers will be on site with offers and samplings.

Bright Horizon will host the Kids Zone, which will feature a face painter, balloon artist and hands-on crafts for the kids.

The event also will feature an interactive area hosted by Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital to help educate participants on cancer prevention. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance at events.dailyherald.com and make a $15 donation. The first 200 people to register with a donation will receive an exclusive pink lululemon gift bag.

Register by Sept. 30 and you will be eligible to win a $100 Deer Park shopping spree.
