District 214 holds Career Nights

High School District 214 will hold three "Career Nights" in October and November at various sites in the district.

Each night will focus on different career clusters, allowing students and their parents to receive information about various professions and meet with representatives from numerous businesses and industries.

Top areas of interest are chosen and speakers are invited based upon student feedback given in the spring. These presenters will give both students and parents a unique opportunity to learn about various careers and hear about "real-life" experiences.

Career Nights will be held on the following dates:

• "Careers in Arts & Communication/Human Services" will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, at Rolling Meadows High School.

• "Careers in Health & Natural Resources" will take place at John Hersey High School Tuesday, Oct. 25.

• "Careers in Engineering/Industrial Technology/Business & Computers" will be held at Buffalo Grove High School Tuesday, Nov. 15.

On-site registration begins at 6 p.m. Each evening will conclude at 8:30 p.m.
