Bloomingdale Library & Bloomingdale Park District Host Month-Long Scavenger Hunt

Bloomingdale Public Library and the Bloomingdale Park District are teaming up for a month-long, town-wide scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt, called Read (and Hunt) for the Fun of It!, is a part of Teen Read Week, but will last the entire month of October. The scavenger hunt will consist of 50 various challenges. Challenges range from attending a library program to taking a picture at a specific spot around town.

Teen participants will have the chance to win several prizes, including OwlCrate YA book boxes and a Kindle Fire, with additional opportunities to win other prizes along the way. The more challenges they complete, the greater the chance to win. Teens can sign-up and log their process at http://bit.ly/bloomingdaleteenhunt.
