Celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death with a rollicking good time in Steel Beam Theatre's "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)." Performances will be 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, and 3 p.m. Sundays, through Oct. 9, at the theater, 111 W. Main St. in St. Charles. Tickets are $28.

This irreverent, fast-paced romp of a play, breaks the standard Shakespeare facade to make the Bard's stories come alive. All 37 plays in 97 minutes!

The madcap cast of four women weave a wickedly funny path through the comedies, histories and tragedies of the most famous writer in the English language, William T. Shakespeare (the T stands for terrific!). Come get your Shakespeare in one hilarious dose!

It features Jennifer Reeves Wilson, Lori Holm, Heide Swarthout and Julie Bayer, directed by Jesse Hicks.
