Lakemoor fall fishing derby
The annual Lakemoor Fall Fishing Derby is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Morrison Park on Lily Lake. Advance registration is required. Forms are available at village hall, 28874 Route 120 or www.lakemoor.net. Deadline for registration is at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. Participants must bring their own gear and bait. Cost is $5 for those 16 and older. All others are free. Awards will be given for each age group for largest bass and pan fish and the heaviest bass and panfish. Visit the website for details.
