Coaster Challenge this weekend to benefit athletes of Special Olympics Illinois

There's still time to get in on the fun and go the distance on some of the country's best roller coasters during the third annual Coaster Challenge to benefit Special Olympics Illinois on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Register now to ride a 5K, 10K or Marathon distance on Six Flag Great America's premier roller coasters and you'll get 2 hours worth of extra ride time on Raging Bull and Goliath before the park opens to the general public!

Raise $150 ($100 if you are a current season pass holder) and ride a total of a 5K (16,405 feet), or about six rides depending on which ones you choose, it is as simple as that. If you have the heart of a GOLIATH and want to do a little more, you can raise $300 and ride a total of a 10K (32,810 feet). For those of you that have the DEMON in you, go for the Marathon by raising a minimum of $1,000 and riding a full 26.2 miles!

You will have a scorecard stamped as you exit each ride, and the distance will be tallied when you check in at the scoring table upon completion. All participants will receive a Flash Pass to all roller coasters for a limited time throughout the day.

After your race is complete, medals will be awarded and participants can feel free to stay and enjoy all the benefits that Six Flags has to offer. To top it off, it is the first weekend of Fright Fest!
