Girls volleyball: Kaneland wins 10th straight

Jessica Weber had 9 kills and 18 digs to lead Kaneland's girls volleyball team to a 25-19, 20-25, 25-16 Northern Illinois Big 12 East win over Morris Tuesday night, the Knights' 10th straight win.

Hannah Neuert added 30 assists and Jessica Nyugen had 12 digs for Kaneland (18-3, 3-0).

Glenbard East d. South Elgin: Taylor Hankins (8 digs) and Hayley Fisher had 7 kills each for South Elgin in a 25-12, 21-25, 25-11 Upstate Eight Valley loss. Eunice Gueco added 7 digs for the Storm (4-6-2, 0-2).

St. Charles North d. Batavia: In the UEC River, Sam Juarez (4 kills, 8 digs) and Peyton Suchse (10 digs) led Batavia (9-9, 1-2).

Chicago Christian d. St. Edward: Despite 20 kills and 14 digs from Dominique Washington, St. Edward fell 13-25, 25-15, 25-20 in the Metro Suburban. Brianna Lopez added 13 digs for the Green Wave (5-7, 3-2) while Erin Aldana had 16 assists and Emily Stapay added 13.

Bartlett d. East Aurora: Mackenzie Bush had 7 kills to lead Bartlett to a 25-12, 25-15 Upstate Eight Valley win.

Aurora Christian d. Harvest Christian: In the Northeastern Athletic Conference, Mikayla Robinson had 18 kills, 4 blocks and 4 digs for Harvest Christian in a 25-23, 14-25, 25-21 loss. Candis Kaplan added 14 digs and 7 aces and Hannah Griffith had 6 blocks and 4 digs for the Lions (6-4).
