Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts welcomes Ron Keaton as Churchill

The Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts welcomes "Ron Keaton as Churchill" at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.

Experience Winston Churchill, the man who famously proclaimed, "I am ready to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter ..."

Ron Keaton, a veteran Chicago actor who has performed everything from musicals to Shakespeare, arrives on stage in the iconic Churchillian suit, with bow tie and watch fob, and the more you watch him and listen to him, the more he becomes the man himself. It is a triumphant performance, capturing the essence of the man without mimicry of any kind.

Tickets for "Ron Keaton as Churchill" are $25, $23 for seniors and students, and can be ordered online at www.prairiecenter.org or by calling (847) 895-3600. The Prairie Center is located at 201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg.
