Crowds flock to get taste of Wheeling's food offerings

Wheeling's 2016 Taste of the Town on Wednesday evening offered a chance to sample dishes from local restaurants, wineries and breweries.

More than 20 restaurants from Wheeling's famed Restaurant Row and from neighboring communities participated, offering tastes of Asian, American, Italian, Korean, Mexican and other flavors, with a focus on healthy harvest fare.

The event was held at the Westin Chicago North Shore, 601 N. Milwaukee Ave., and was presented by the Wheeling/Prospect Heights Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Restaurant Row Hospitality Group.
