Dist. 15 board to hear repayment options for $130 million borrowing plan

Palatine Township Elementary District 15 board members will hear a presentation Wednesday on repayment options for the $130 million the district wants to borrow for the construction of two new schools.

The district's financial adviser on the bonds will make the presentation at the meeting set to begin at 7 p.m. at Sundling Jr. High School, 1100 N. Smith Street, Palatine.

Should voters approve the $130 million bond question in the November election, bonds would likely be issued in January 2017, and repaid over a 20-year period, according to district documents.
