Welcome Autumn with the Fabulous Fall Fest

Celebrate the season with the Mt. Prospect Park District's Fabulous Fall Fest held on Saturday, October 1 from 11 am to 3 pm at Lions Recreation Center. The event, formerly known as the Howlin' Halloween Fest, has been a Mount Prospect family tradition for almost 20 years.

Enjoy a hay ride, petting zoo, climbing wall, inflatable corn maze, magic show and photo booth as well as games, prizes and goodies. Bounce houses, balloon art and costumed characters add to the fun! Concessions available. Admission is $5 per child (payable at the door) and includes a trick or treat bag. Adults are free. The Fest moves indoors in case of inclement weather.

New in 2016, the Fall Fest features the music of Chicago country super group, Hillbilly Rockstarz, from 1:30 to 3 pm at the Veteran's Memorial Bandshell. The band specializes in covering the latest hits in country music and guarantees to leave the audience wanting "one more." The Hillbilly show has something for everyone including the music of Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan as well as Johnny Cash and Willie and Waylon too!

Feel free to dress in your Halloween best - October kicks off with the Fabulous Fall Fest! Lions Recreation Center is located at 411 South Maple in Mount Prospect. Call (847) 640-1000 for more details or log onto www. mppd.org
