Off-leash passes now on sale in Cook County
Off-leash dog area memberships, enabling dogs to enjoy off-leash play in the Forest Preserves of Cook County, are now available for 2016-17.
Off-leash locations are: Beck Lake, 1000 N East River Rd in Des Plaines; Bremen Grove, 16061 Oak Park Ave. in Tinley Park; and Miller Meadow, 2175 S. 1st St in Forest Park.
Buy memberships at fpdcc.com/off-leash-dog-areas, or at the Forest Preserves' general headquarters at 536 N. Harlem Ave., in River Forest. The 2016-2017 annual membership is valid Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2017. Cook County residents pay $55 per dog annually. The fee for non-residents is $110 per dog. All dog owners must submit a Veterinarian Health Report.
