COD continues 50th anniversary celebration with performance by Mucca Pazza

In a continued celebration of College of DuPage's 50th anniversary, eclectic Chicago-based marching band Mucca Pazza recently performed in a parade and concert at the College's Glen Ellyn campus.

Find photos of the event on the COD Newsroom's Flickr page. Sponsored by the MAC, Student Life and the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, the program began with a cross-campus parade, attracting crowds of students and employees, followed by a free concert at the McAninch Arts Center.

Chicago-based Mucca Pazza is a marching band that "thinks it's a rock and roll band."

The 30-member group provides an eccentric, frenetic visual presence amid original, award-winning compositions.

In a continuous, yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary, College of DuPage will host a series of on- and off-campus events throughout the year to highlight the institution's history and service to students and District 502 residents over the past half-century.
