Where will Franks find 10 percent to cut?

There's plenty of talk regarding Jack Franks' "Cut10 Plan" and how he is going to save me 10 percent on my property tax bill. I would like to hear Franks' detailed plan on how exactly he will achieve the savings.

Jack supports the county spending big dollars on Randall Road, a roundabout on Charles Road and I-90 and Route 23 interchange. If Jack intends to have the county spend over $100 million on road projects, what areas does he plan to defund for his 10 percent cut? Will it be the Conservation District? Workforce Development? Health and Human Services? Something has to get the axe.

I, along with many other voters, eagerly anticipate further explanation from Rep. Franks on his method for savings at the League of Women Voters forum on Sept. 12. I also hope other groups step forward and hold formal debates to help voters make informed decisions this November.
