Library to host National Voter Registration Day event

The League of Women Voters will be at Fox River Valley Public Library to register voters on National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Stop by between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Dundee Library, 555 Barrington Ave. in East Dundee, or 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Randall Oaks branch, 500 Randall Road in West Dundee. Visit www.frvpld.info.

To be eligible, a person must be a U.S. citizen, be 18 years of age by the general election and reside in the precinct for 30 days prior to the next election which is Tuesday, Nov. 8.

Applicants should bring two forms of identification that show their current name and address, such as a driver's license, Social Security card, utility bill, or credit card.
