Tom Sizemore faces misdemeanor domestic violence charges

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles prosecutors say Tom Sizemore has been charged with three misdemeanors in connection with his arrest in a domestic violence case.

The city's attorney's office says the "Black Hawk Down" actor was charged this week with intimate partner abuse, intimate partner battery and making terrorist threats.

Arraignment is set for Sept. 15. The Los Angeles Times reports Thursday (http://lat.ms/2bFs8Co) that Sizemore faces up to three years in jail if convicted on all charges.

Representatives for Sizemore did not return requests for comment.

Last month the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to file felony charges in the case.

The 54-year-old was arrested July 19.

Sizemore's arrest came amid a comeback attempt after years of substance abuse problems. He has a recurring role on the USA Network series "Shooter."
