Naperville Sunrise Rotary to Host Harvest Moon Party to benefit International Projects

Naperville Settlement is the site of the Naperville Sunrise Rotary's annual Harvest Moon party on Saturday, September 17 from 7-11 pm. The event raises funds for international projects around the world. This year's party will feature a Guatemalan theme, in honor of the clean water and housing projects the club is supporting there. Previous projects have included clean water and electricity in Haiti and education and clean water projects in Zambia.

Guests at Harvest Moon will enjoy an open-air autumn evening event featuring food, craft beer, wine and soft drinks, a silent auction and music and dancing by Rock and Roll and Blues Band Lost Karma, all under the bright harvest moon. A limited number of advance tickets are available for $40 per person at www.harvestmoonparty.com. If any tickets remain, they will be available at a premium price at the door.

THE ROTARY CLUB OF NAPERVILLE SUNRISE offers the opportunity to join leaders to take action on important issues affecting our community, our nation, and the world. We also have a lot of fun - whether we're socializing or working together on service projects. Our club is focused on helping teens and young adults become future leaders. We support organizations and community projects that help young people survive and thrive. Our international efforts focus on humanitarian needs including education, clean water and the eradication of polio.

Members of Sunrise Rotary connect at weekly meetings held at 7 am Fridays at Naperville Country Club. At meetings, we connect, share ideas and create action. We learn from business experts, community and civic leaders, and entrepreneurs who help us stay informed on topics that are relevant to our community. Together, we make great things happen. Prospective members are welcome to visit anytime. For more information visit www.napervillesunrise.com.
