Low-cost pet vaccines

Two low-cost pet vaccination clinics are scheduled in coming weeks on a first-come, first-served basis. All animals brought to a clinic must be at least 4 months old. Dogs must be leashed and cats placed in carriers. Only cash will be accepted on site. Clinics are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 10 at the Grayslake Police Department, 10 S. Seymour Ave., and Oct. 1 at the Beach Park public works facility, 40185 Glendale Ave. For spayed and neutered pets, a one-year rabies vaccination and Lake County tag is $20; one-year rabies vaccination, tag and distemper is $25; distemper complete only is $10; and, a microchip is $15.
