Surgical Care Affiliates to co-partner in New Jersey center

Deerfield-based Surgical Care Affiliates and Virtua Health, one of New Jersey's largest health systems, have been chosen to partner with Bergen-Passaic Cataract Laser and Surgery Center.

BPSC is an ophthalmic focused facility devoted to serving the surgical needs of over 6,000 patients annually in a high-quality, convenient, and low-cost setting. The facility is located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey and consists of 24 physician partners. It is now jointly owned by SCA, Virtua, and physician investors.

The investment expands the SCA and Virtua partnership in New Jersey to nine surgery centers, and 20 collectively between the two organizations.
