Girls volleyball: Stevenson stays perfect, tops New Trier

Jori Radtke had 13 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces, and Stevenson's girls volleyball team remained undefeated with a 25-18, 25-17 win over host New Trier in nonconference action Tuesday night.

Stevenson (9-0) also got 7 kills from Sophie Sorenson and five from Hope Havenhill. Sara Bufe posted 3 solo and 4 assisted blocks, and Alex Cuc dished out 24 assists.

Conant d. Mundelein: Sidney Brunkow had 2 kills, 2 aces and 1 block for the Mustangs, who lost the nonconference match 25-21, 25-14.

Mundelein (3-6) also received 2 kills apiece from McKenzie Theis and Taylor Heath. Theis, Amanda Bogseth and Faith Krabbe each had a pair blocks.

Johnsburg d. Grayslake North: The Skyhawks outlasted the host Knights 25-23, 16-25, 25-23 in a nonconference match.

Taylor Johnston had 17 digs and 4 kills for Grayslake North. Abby Fish and Carissa Popp each had 7 kills for the Knights, while Sidney Lovitsch added six.
