Red Bulls MF Sacha Kljestan added to US roster

HARRISON, N.J. (AP) - New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan has been added to the U.S. team roster heading into two World Cup qualifying matches.

Kljestan will join the team for training in Jacksonville, Florida ahead of the first match against St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday. Four days later, the team closes Group C semifinals action against Trinidad and Tobago.

Kljestan leads MLS with 15 assists this season and has five goals. He has played for the United States in the 2009 Confederations Cup and made the preliminary 2010 World Cup roster.

Heading into the last two matches, the United States is in second place in the group with seven points, three behind T and T and one ahead of Guatemala.
