Library program to teach job skills for people with disabilities

Disability employment trainer J.J. Hanley will present Job Skills for People with Disabilities from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the Rasmussen North Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

This program is free, but requires registration at (847) 923-3347 or visit the Information Desk on the library's second floor.

Hanley will help participants prepare for the workplace by discussing personal goals for employment and walking through a self-assessment process to identify current skills. He will additionally help audience members determine whether they are in need of additional training.
