Firstform receives NCYS 'recommended provider' status

WARRENVILLE -The National Council of Youth Sports has approved Firstform, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sports Field Holdings, as a "Recommended Provider" of the company's Primeplay Replicated Grass turf systems.

NCYS represents over 200 member organizations that serve more than 60 million registered youth participants, leading the youth sports industry by offering its members value, quality resources and services that are relevant, reliable, meaningful and purposeful.

"The safety of our youth athletes is first and foremost in the mission of the NCYS," said NCYS Executive Director Sally Johnson. "At a time when crumb rubber turf fields have come under increased scrutiny for their potential safety issues, we are pleased to be partnering with a company that eliminates these concerning materials.

Sports Field CEO and Chairman Jeromy Olson said NCYS' designation will benefit the company through improved access to decision-makers within the national youth sport scene, introductions to fellow members, and unique educational opportunities regarding the Company's advanced synthetic turf products,

"Firstform's infill products are all natural and organic and do not shift during play," Olson said. "We believe they are better and safer than anything else out there and can be tailored to nearly every sport."
