JCC Chicago Introduces Up, Over and All-In

JCC Chicago is proud to introduce Up, Over and All-In -- a group obstacle course and premiere family event featuring fitness, team-building, food and lots of fun. The high-energy course and family experience will take place at the Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook on Sunday, September 18th from 1-5pm. All-ages, all-abilities welcome.

JCC Chicago and Northbrook-based Hot Ground Gym will create a 17-piece outdoor obstacle course surrounding the community center where children, teens, adults and families can celebrate strength, determination, team-work and self-discovery. Participants can explore the course and also enjoy other family activities such as inflatables, touch-a-truck, refreshments and more.

"We're so proud to bring this first time event to our community," said Addie Goodman, Vice President, JCC Chicago. "Up, Over and All-In will not only highlight JCC Chicago's rededication to health, wellness and fitness, but celebrate our organization's deep commitment to inclusive programming. Our hope is that the entire community will come out-that we will see groups of family and friends trying the course together, and that children and teens with disabilities will enjoy the day with friends and peers."

JCC Chicago's teen engagement program, Jewish Student Connection (JSC), will bring teens from across the Chicagoland area to participate in the course and to enhance the peer-to-peer experience. JSC students will lead the charge through the course and help all participants enjoy on-site activities provided by JCC partners and community sponsors. Proceeds benefit JCC Chicago's inclusion programming.
