Man injured when truck falls on him at Batavia repair shop

A man was injured Tuesday morning when a truck fell off a lift and on to him while he was underneath it, Batavia police said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was flown to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Police did not know his condition as of 11:45 a.m., according to a news release.
It happened at 8:40 a.m. at Tranz Shop, a transmission repair business at 1707 E. Wilson St.
Police and officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
