District 211 adopts new strategic plan
Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 board members have approved a new mission statement, value statements and strategic plan intended to guide their specific decisions through the next few years.
The new mission statement is, "Township High School District 211 serves the educational needs of the community, inspiring all students to successfully contribute to the world."
The strategic plan was the product of community input gathered since the start of 2016, as well as the shared priorities of board members.
The plan outlines a philosophy for the district's approach to such issues as academics, extracurriculars and student wellness that's meant to provide the general basis for specific actions and cost expenditures.
