Oklahoma City Thunder sign guard Semaj Christon

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed guard Semaj Christon.

Thunder general manager Sam Presti announced the signing Saturday. Terms of the deal were not released.

Christon was a second-round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Xavier and spent the 2014-15 season the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA D-League where he averaged 18.6 points, 5.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game in 44 games.

He played last season in Italy and averaged 14.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in 30 games.

Christon played for the Thunder's summer league team in July and averaged 16.8 points and 4.3 assists per game in five games.
