Shepherd's Circle of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital hosts second annual Barn Dance

As part of a movement to engage young community members in fundraising efforts, the Shepherd's Circle through Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is hosting a boot-kicking dance to benefit the historic, campus-wide modernization project, including the enhancement of surgical technology.

On Saturday, September 10, Shepherd's Circle invites you to attend the Barn Dance for a good cause. This country-western themed fundraiser includes live music by RockStar Rodeo, line dancing, food trucks for dinner and dessert, games and a raffle.

"Growing up in the Barrington community, I often took for granted that there was world-class health care available right in my own backyard," says Priscilla Morrison, community member and co-chair of the Shepherd's Circle Barn Dance. "Now that I have a family of my own, I know how important it is to have access to top-quality care. The Barn Dance is a fun way for the young families of Barrington, and the surrounding communities, to support the vital needs of the hospital - and help ensure that the best and safest care is available for generations to come."

The Shepherd's Circle is a group of young community leaders and philanthropists dedicated to creating new events, like the casual Barn Dance fundraiser, to give back to the community.

Priscilla Morrison and Britini Wilkens, co-chairs of the Barn Dance, are hosting the event appropriately at the hospital in the Barns.
