Third charging station installed at Lake County courthouse

Lake County has installed an electric vehicle charging station at the Lake County Court and Administrative Complex, 18 N. County St., in downtown Waukegan. The station is free to use for two hours per charge. The stations allow users to recharge plug-in electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, neighborhood electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. County charging stations also are at the health department office, 3010 Grand Ave., Waukegan and at the Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. Electric vehicle owners must have a ChargePoint membership to use the county's charging stations.
