Live4Lali to host drug abuse panel in Arlington Heights

The Arlington Heights-based anti-heroin nonprofit Live4Lali will continue its "From Use to Abuse: Drugs in Our Community" panel discussion series with an event at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Buffalo Grove Park District Community Arts Center, 225 McHenry Road. The event, called "Part 2: Drugs and the Law" will be moderated by Bruce Johnson, CEO of Nicasa Behavioral Health Services. It includes nine panelists: 16th District state Rep. Lou Lang, Lake County Judge Christopher Stride, Lake County State's Attorney Michael Nerheim, Mundelein Police Chief Eric Guenther, Mundelein Police Officer Jakob Anderson, Claudia Kasten, chief of the Lake County State's Attorney's juvenile division, Elliot Pinsel, a criminal defense attorney and Matthew Graff, a person in recovery.
